Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Over 10 years supporting adults, children and teenagers through collaborative, trauma-informed and culturally humble psychotherapy.
About
I have worked for over 10 years with adults, children and teenagers experiencing mental health challenges, supporting their development of social skills, emotional regulation, positive self-esteem and self-efficacy.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental. I respect client autonomy and integrate practices that align with their individual experiences. I have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, maintaining an awareness of their beliefs and employing a multicultural perspective and cultural humility to guide our work together.
I also draw from different modalities based on clients' needs, using evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Dialectical and Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
