Frequently asked questions
Every day follows a predictable rhythm: a morning welcome circle, therapist-led creative and social skills activities, cooperative group games, a quieter reflection block and a closing circle before pick-up. The structure helps children settle in quickly and know what to expect.
No. This is a therapist-led group program, not individual therapy. It uses evidence-based practices from social-emotional learning to support children in exploring confidence and social connection through structured, playful activities. If a child would benefit from ongoing individual support, we are happy to talk with families about next steps.
Groups are intentionally small, with up to 12 children per week, so each child is genuinely seen. Sessions are always led by our clinical team with trained assistants present.
Yes. Each week is a complete experience with its own theme, so families can register for one week or both. Attending both weeks gives children more time to practice skills and deepen friendships.
No diagnosis is needed. The camp is open to any child who could benefit from a smaller, more supported group setting, including children who are shy, working on friendships or learning to name and manage big feelings.
A snack, a refillable water bottle and comfortable clothes for indoor activities. We provide all art and activity supplies.
